About the Event
If you offroad enough, you will get stuck. Getting unstuck is an art and it's imperative to understand how to recover yourself safely without damage to your vehicle.
This course will guide you through the following:
- Scene SurveyÂ
- Stuck assessment
- Recovery options
- Bow vs soft shackles
- Static vs kinetic recovery
- Bridging ladders / Traction boards
- Recovery points
- Self and Assisted recoveryÂ
- High lift / farm jacks

Every session ends with a certificate of attendance.Â
Pre-requisites:
- You must bring a 4WDÂ vehicle which should be in good mechanical shape with 4wd working and reasonably good tyres
- Valid Driver's license
- Medically fit
- Vehicle tool kit and jack
- Any recovery equipment that you own.
The cost includes participation certificate for the driver, basic meals and a stickers thrown in.Â
NOTE: a minimum of 4 partipants are required for this course. If we do not get four participants, we would refund the money back to you.
