1-1 Private Level 1 Offroad Training

This course is the same as group course but it is a 1-on-1 training with the instructor with you at all times. The main advantage of the course is that you can do much more given that there you have full attention of the instructor and no waiting times like with the group. Additionally, the dates are flexible and you and the instructor can mutually decide a date for the training.

After purchasing the ticket, we can mutually decide on the date for the event. We can try to accommodate special training requests as well.

What this course is about?

Once you  have decided that offroading is a great hobby for you or that offroading has become a necessity for you to get proficient, this is the starter course for you. This is the course that would teach you the ropes of offroading.

As with all our courses, this one too will have a theory and practical component.

Due to COVID 19 precautions, we have shifted our theory module online and would be broken into 2  modules of 1.5 hours each before the on field sessions begin.

The on field session would be a 6 hour plus in vehicle session.

The Theory and On Field sessions would cover the following:

1. Understanding 4wd systems
2. Vehicle preparation and inspection
3. Different types of Terrains
4. Basic driving skills on different terrains and obstacles
5. Spotting Techniques
6. Very basic recovery skills
7. Trail driving
8. Post offroad inspection

Every session ends with a certificate of attendance. However, we also offer a certification and for that there would be an additional written and theory exam in which you must clear at least 70% marks to be certified.

Pre-requisites:

• You must bring a 4WD vehicle which should be in good mechanical shape with 4wd working and reasonably good tyres
• Valid Driver's license
• Medically fit

The cost includes participation certificate for the driver, training passport, packed water and meals (can't do restaurants in Covid times) and a few freebies thrown in.
